A native of Washington State, Amy loves creating fantastical worlds for characters and audiences alike. In her career, she has sunk the Titanic!, chased a Drowsy Chaperone thru secret passages, ridden a Carousel, attended the Salem witch trials, visited enchanted castles, wandered English manor houses looking for lost loves, contemplated murder while sipping wine with Aunts Abby & Martha, flown over the streets of London, landed in New York City with a Giant Peach, and crossed the plains of Oklahoma! to Hollywood where she stopped to play in the rain. Amy received a M.F.A. in Scenic Design and Technical Direction from Utah State University, a B.A. in Theater from Eastern Washington University and an A.A.S in Natural Sciences from BYUI (formerly Ricks Jr. College). In her spare time she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, reading and spending time with her family and dogs Jack & Athena.
